Institutional Member (Voting)

This category is open to societies, corporations, unincorporated organizations, associations, non-governmental organizations, or government bodies who support the Objects of the Association.

 

All membership applicants must submit any supporting documentation, pay identified Membership Fees, and be ratified by the AMA Board of Directors before their membership will be activated. 

Annual fee is based on your organization's operating budget:

$0 to $100,000  $100
$100,001 to $250,000 $150
$250,001 to $500,000 $200

By checking the box below, the institution acknowledges that as an Institutional Member of the Alberta Museums Association, it will:

  • Operate mindful of its federal, provincial, and municipal trusteeship obligations and legal requirements;
  • Act in a competent, conscientious, and accountable manner;
  • If applicable, comply with any relevant legislation relating to not-for-profit societies and/or charities;
  • Ensure its mission is achieved in an ethical and prudent manner; 
  • Support the Objects of the Alberta Museums Association; and
  • Submit a copy of the following to the AMA Office:
    • Certificate of Incorporation (if applicable)
    • Bylaws
    • Charitable Registration Number.
