Paleo-Knowledgy Trivia Night

Join fellow Conference attendees for a virtual trivia event and compete in a dinosaur-themed pub quiz! Test your current knowledge and learn new fun facts to wow your dino enthusiast friends (or any 9-year-old).

Not up to date on the latest paleontological news? No problem: this quiz is a fun way to test your pop culture dino references and bust a few myths along the way.

After the quiz, jump into a Zoom breakout room with your peers for some informal networking and socializing.

How to Play

The Paleo-Knowledgy Trivia Night is a rapid-fire quiz using the Zoom meeting platform. You will answer questions using the polling feature - but answer quickly since there's a time limit! Feel free to keep track of your own scores or just play for fun.

Attendees are welcome to have their webcams on for this event and to interact in the chat (just make sure not to give away the answers!) Microphones will be muted for all participants so that questions can be heard clearly.

Teams

Play solo or compete as a team! If you are attending our March Conference Event with colleagues or have a friend joining from another institution, create an online team using a side channel like Facebook Messenger, text messages, or over the phone. Designate your responder and share your fun team name in the chat!
