Knowledge Development Bursary

The Knowledge Development Bursary provides financial support to
Individual Members of the Alberta Museums Association (AMA) for
both Formal and Informal learning opportunities that will enhance
the current phase of their museum careers. Application narratives
should clearly demonstrate alignment with the AMA values of
Courageous Leadership, Service Excellence, Reciprocity, Agents of
Social Change, Compelling Communication, Intentional Inclusion, and
Collective Celebration.
All Individual Members must be ratified and hold an active
membership, before the date of submission, to be eligible for the
Knowledge Development Bursary.

Application Intake Dates:
- Starting at 9:00 a.m. on January 15, 2026
Applications will only be accepted for ten business days
beginning on the annual intake dates. Applications are processed
and evaluated for eligibility in the order in which they are
received.
Note: The AMA will offer one January intake in the 2025
- 2026 bursary year. Future bursary years will offer annual intake
dates in September and January.
